Autumn 2026 updates

Hello! Here to briefly share two pieces of new information.

(1) One – Phosphorus, the poetic documentary film project I have been working on for a while now, got selected to go to Camp 4Science 2026–2027, an amazing learning experience organized by Mezinárodní festival populárně-vědeckých filmů / International Festival of Science Documentary Films (Akademia Film Olomouc, Czech Republic). We’re heading there next weekend together with the fantastic Olha Tuharinova (Kshtalt Productions, Ukraine) to pitch, learn, and learn some more: from mentors, peers, dreamers, and doers.

(2) Two – sometime early this year, I had a talk with Riccardo Fumagali following the work of music I created from a brief recording of the steps on the stones on the shore of the river Lech and a factory siren in the background. The recording and the soundwork were both part of a bigger research-and-art project Flow (read more about the project, by Dr Martina Cecchetto, with the scientific contribution of Dr Florian Betz and artistic curation of Riccardo Fumagali), in collaboration with Cities and Memory project, University of Padua (IT) and the University of Würzburg (Germany).

The piece itself is brief, and if you are not interested in the other discussion, just the pure rupuma (or grittiness), then just scroll towards the last five minutes of the podcast. If you are interested in the talk, though, do give it a listen following this link, and check out other works in the project.

Wishing you a lovely Autumn ahead!
