A week back several copies of a long-awaited album, compiled by Stefan Knappe at Drone Records, have reached me. It is Drone-Mind//Mind-Drone vol.9, a series running since 2011, presenting “drones of the world” as well as “drones of the mind”. The series features some wonderful artists I’ve been following for years, and each release comes our with a totally fantastic artwork, based on paintings by Pete Greening. Needless to say I am thrilled to be in that lovely company.
There are two works of mine on this album, you can listen to one of them here. I have several copies to sell, please either get in touch via my Bandcamp, or order it directly there or via Discogs.

My cat Sigutė loves this record already. What she does not love is that I’ll be away on a residency in Ardeches next week. I’ll be in a residency titled Flux Sensibles, collaborative effort of Meno Parkas gallery and association Cadavres Exquis, sharing timespace with Agnė Jonkutė, Judith Lesur and Alain Boulerot. We’ll be in Saint-Julien-en-Saint-Alban, with an opening for public on the 21st of September, more info to follow here.
Last, but not least, I had a lovely encounter with a lovely human who is also a journalist, and a podcast is a result of that encounter. It is, unfortunately, in Lithuanian only, but if you do speak it, you’ll find it in the webpage of NARA, one of those not many media channels that do socially responsible long form journalism.
