“Bestiarium” took place in Plunge (Lithuania) performance art festival “Simbolis” in August 2014.

Performance started two weeks before the performance started. I was collecting sticks of pine and various other trees in the forest in Nida, LT. Those were hot sunny days, the air smelled like honey, and during my lunch break, I would go to the forest, eat wild raspberries and blackberries, and gather sticks. I would come back to my room and glue the sticks to the carcass. It seemed such a slow process. The performance continued in the bus, people were curious about the headdress, while in Plungė the action started as soon as I left the bus I got there with and lasted for an hour and a half.
