I’m not big at celebrating, so new year is just a good excuse to let you know about things that are upcoming or things that we’re over with.

So 2020 – as tragic and horrifying as it was – seemed to be good in terms of works done. I had some lovely collaborations with Valentinas Charitonovas and Vaisgamta ensemble; Simonas Nekrošius, Low Air and Ieva Lapelytė; William Bilwa Costa; my lovely team of women Akvilė Matulaitytė, Laura Lapinskė and Gabija Juknevičiūtė; released Budynės and even managed to open an exhibition with an immense help of my friend Airida Rekštytė and the gallery Meno Parkas. Given that nobody was officially alowed to visit it due to Lithuanian quarantine measures, it also became a micro-album, published as Betylės erdvės in my bandcamp page. By the end of the year, the proceedings from both albums (well, not much, but still) went to support an old-growth forest restoration fund Sengirės fondas.

I am behind in building additional pages with information about the new releases, but will get there eventually, maybe even over the next week. For now I just wanted to check in with som info about end 2020 and upcoming 2021. And to let you know that by the end of February 2021, hopefully, will see my new release, this time – physical format (cassette) too.
